According to a Facebook post from the Wayne County Health Department this afternoon, they are aware that Pfizer has received an Emergency Use Authorization for their COVID-19 vaccine. The first few shipments will be very small. The vaccine will be allocated throughout the county in phases per IDPH guidelines. The health department will provide updates on vaccine availiability and drive-thru vaccination clinic dates and times.
Today is the first day petitions can be filed for city and county races for the April 6
th Consolidated Election. Wayne County races include the race for Fairfield Mayor and aldermen, roughly 20 township road commissioners, and seats on each school board. Edwards County has races in Albion, West Salem, Bone Gap, and Browns, as well as for three school board seats. Petitions can be filed through December 21 ....
