Somewhere, unseen, athletes are starting to duke it out for medals. For the rest of us, just getting around the city requires Olympian feats of endurance.
This is the season we need to slow down, drink up and eat light. Looking for specific ideas? Make your way to Hatagaya, just a few train stops west of Shinjuku, head for the Nishihara Shotengai shopping street and don’t stop walking until you reach Kon.
Rainbow Finder is the name of the animated mini series with an unlikely creator 7-Eleven Japan. The series shares three short episodes, each of which is just two short minutes in length but shares a look into beautiful moments. The first video in the series introduces high school student Nanami as an aspiring photographer who captures special moments. The second episode introduces a close friendship between classmates and the third and final episode rounds out the mini series by showing the characters graduating, and romance heating up. The three films are connected by 7-Eleven, which serves as a setting for the story.
