The Assam government plans to release a book on Bir Lachit Borphukan, a legendary leader known for his victory in the Battle of Saraighat, in 24 Indian languages. The book, written by Arup Kumar Dutta, aims to educate people from different states about the great medieval era Army general from Assam. Additionally, the government is also working on a book called "Political History of Assam."
