trees and branches and causing power outages. good afternoon. those strong winds have done their damage all over our area, snapping tree branches and power lines and in at least one case causing an accident that injured a woman. the incident happened in the 8300 block of newby court in springfield when branches fell from a tall tree in a back yard. one of the branches fell right through the roof and hit a woman in the head as she was sitting at her dining room table. she was sitting right here eating her lunch. all of a sudden, the tree fell down and hit the roof and came through the hole right there and struck her in the head and fell down on the floor. the woman was taken to the hospital. her husband says she should be okay. those winds have been whipping out there and whipping it up today. let s find out when things are going to settle down a bit. bob ryan is in the storm center. hi, pat and jim. winds are beginning to diminish a bit but they are still ....
