Shortly before 11 a.m. on Friday, Hawai‘i Island police responded to an unknown type of disturbance at a residence on 7th Avenue in Hawaiian Paradise Park.
Hawai‘i Island police detectives forwarded a 2022 Puna murder investigation to the County Prosecutor’s office for review. The victim is identified as 5-month-old Makia Alameda of Kalapana.
