HIGHLANDERS are gearing up for yet more snowfalls this week â with no fewer than three separate yellow warnings in place for parts of the region in the coming days⦠and more on the way.
A Met Office yellow warning for snow and ice is currently in force for all of Caithness and Sutherland, as well as parts of Ross-shire, the Black Isle, Inverness, and Nairnshire. It will remain in place until midday on Monday, and has already resulted in snow showers for some - including central Inverness during rush hour.

HIGHLANDERS woke up to a hard frost on Wednesday after the coldest night of the winter sent temperatures plunging as low as -12.2C.
