Madison County, nonprofits, restaurants partner to help shut-ins for Christmas meal The Telegraph FacebookTwitterEmail During the Thanksgiving season, an employee at Mother’s Catering, in Highland, helps organize meals for delivery. For Christmas, the firm will help seniors in a partnership with Madison County. EDWARDSVILLE Madison County is partnering with senior service agencies and local restaurants to deliver a special dinner to the elderly and/or disabled who are shut in this holiday season. Madison County Community Development (MCCD) is working with Senior Services Plus (SSP), in Alton, Main Street Community Center, in Edwardsville, and Highland Meals On Wheels to provide funding for a holiday delivery event. The meals will be prepared by 10 locally owned restaurants.
