Thats what some san bruno businesses and drivers say about a new downtown paid parking system. The goal of the new paid parking system was to improve parking turnover on downtown streets and drive long term parking into lots. Now to do this, the city installed pay by plate parking kiosks, but some businesses say the system has seen too many technical issues. Customers are frustrated that they have to pay for at least an hour, even if theyre only running into a store for a few minutes. Shop owners say the result is fewer customers.
