Sarma said that the bill will be introduced in the coming session of the assembly. The Governor has summoned the Winter Session of the Assembly from December 28, 2020.
The education minister added that a bill will be introduced in the assembly to repeal the state run Madrassa.
GUWAHATI: Assam education minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the state will usher in “secular education” for it will close down state run Madrassa and Sanskrit tolls.
