The launch of Munster Technological University has ushered in a new era for Kerry, which is set to benefit from enhanced resources spanning education, research, innovation and entrepreneurship in 2021 and beyond.
Plans for the new university will be firmly aligned with the wider economic development of the south-west region, according to Maggie Cusack, President of Munster Technological University (MTU).
Bringing together Institute of Technology Tralee and Cork Institute of Technology, MTU is the first ever university to be established in Kerry and the first technological university of its kind outside Dublin. ....
