BACOLOD CITY - An initial group of agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in Negros Occidental will soon receive individual computerized titles under the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling or SPLIT Project of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR). In a report on Thursday, the DAR-Negros Occidental 2, which covers land reform areas in the southern part of the province, said it is among the first in the country to generate computerized titles for individual beneficiaries. The rollout will include titles covering 5.5779 hectares of landholdings located in Barangay Agboy, Candoni town. "Once we receive these C-Titles, we will immediately release this to our farmer-beneficiaries," Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Arnulfo Figueroa said in a statement.
