03 February 2021 Product Aberdeenshire-based Urquhart Joinery Services has added a new Atego 1321L to its eight-strong all-Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle fleet. The 211hp 13.5-tonner, which features a ClassicSpace S-cab and, replaces a seven-year-old 12-tonne Atego. Together with seven Mercedes vans, it will be used to distribute the company’s timber products as far north as the Shetland Islands, and south to Scotland’s central belt. Commenting on the truck, which was supplied by BLS Truck & Van on a seven-year Mercedes-Benz Complete Service Contract, proprietor David Urquhart, said: “Our previous Atego has proved to be impressively rugged and reliable. When we stood it down it had more than 300,000km on the clock, but still looked smart and had never let us down. We’ve tried other makes of truck in the past, but none came close in terms of quality.”
