ST. PAUL, Minn. 3M Co. recently released a new class of silicone adhesives, expanding its 3M Hi-Tack silicone adhesive portfolio with a product that it claims offers strength, flexibility and comfort in securing wearable medical devices.
The 2484 3M single-coated medical film tape with Hi-Tack silicone adhesive is breathable, provides up to a seven-day wear time and minimizes skin cell removal, making it the ideal candidate for applications on fragile skin, the company said.
