John H. Rhodes, the founder of the Rhodes Development Group died at the age of 80.
Rhodes had been an active mortgage banker, real estate developer, property manager, and investor in the Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, and State College areas for more than 55 years.
He was the founder of the Lemoyne-based Rhodes Development Group, a real estate development and holding company, and the parent company of Property Management, Inc. also known as PMI, which manages approximately 17,000 residential units and six million square feet of commercial space; Rhodes Construction Solutions, which builds and renovates single-family dwellings, multifamily projects and commercial buildings; CF Acri & Son, an HVAC and plumbing company; Capital View Development Co., and other related real estate partnerships.
