The need for NSW to be on high alert once again is an overflow from the increase in Victoria’s cases, which was imported from a South Australian person becoming infected in a hotel with inadequate ventilation systems to deal with the spread of this infection. What nonsense; there are way too many farmers. The country produces three times the amount of food we need at the expense of waterways and native species. Prioritise the environment. If the excess farmers won’t get off the land, nationalise them. Mary Marlow, Blackheath
