Following the EHF Congress 2016 in St. Wolfgang, Austria, this is the next electoral one and the delegates voted for will remain in their position for four years until 2025. The remaining ones will be able to follow the event – and eventually also vote – remotely, making the EHF Congress 2021 the first of its kind to be held as a hybrid event with physical and remote attendance. A dedicated hygiene concept has been developed for the congress to minimise the risk of infection with Covid-19 and to comply with the official requirements set by the Austrian health authorities. ....
EHF receive 21 nominations for nine positions on Executive Committee The European Handball Federation (EHF) has received 21 nominations for the nine positions on its Executive Committee. The Executive Committee places will be filled in elections at the EHF Congress in Luxembourg on April 23 and 24. Candidates have been announced following the end of the nomination period on January 23 and the completion of subsequent checks. Austria s Michael Wiederer is set to run for the role of EHF President unopposed, having already served one term in the role. The current vice-president Predrag Boskovic of Montenegro, is set to be challenged by Tjark de Lange of The Netherlands. ....
Ahead of EHF Congress, high interest for European handball top positions 01/27/21 21 candidates have been nominated for nine positions at stake when a new Executive Committee will be elected at the EHF Congress in April Three months out of its election congress on 23 and 24 April 2021 in Luxembourg, the European Handball Federation has released the list of candidates nominated for positions within the EHF Executive Committee, the body which oversees the activities of the EHF. The announcement follows the end of the nomination period on 23 January and a subsequent check of all candidates nominated. Nine positions are open within the Executive Committee and for those 21 candidates have been nominated by their respective federations for the new electoral period which runs from 2021 to 2025. ....
