China s Ministry of Culture and Tourism has rolled out a wide range of Spring Festival themed events and activities to celebrate the traditional Chinese festival and promote its endeavor to inscribe the festival as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, according to a media briefing held by the ministry in Beijing on Thursday.

China s top culture and tourism authority has released 10 tour routes and travel itineraries that will allow tourists to experience the culture and history of Yangtze River, the longest river in Asia and the third longest in the world, while also ensuring its protection.
