Both very busy people obviously with very big jobs. reporter: and, chris, i would personally see her down at val veston at the mardi gras festivities. a presence in town. i also saw her, she had close friends in the city. seen in and about houston. you would expect there will be no shortage of visitors lining up at this buildingance and we all know how important that support is during a rehabilitation process. indeed it is. janet, thank you very much. you ll continue to stand by as we also have our cameras at davis-monthan air force base. the ambulance going with that escort, a group of motorcycle riders, those vfw guys who she s worked with before who volunteered, who wanted to be a part of this. so many members of the community have reached out in one way or another, whether it s to bring flowers or notes or photographs or candles. it s unbelievable the scene at night outside of the hospital in tucson. ....
Before her ambulance even drove past us. and the ambulance only passed us for a good 30 or 40 seconds. people wanted to be connected to her making her way to the airport. they decided to come out here to wait to spend their time on a workday to say good-bye, give her their well wishes. there is so much sorrow in this community. so many people are optimistic as she makes her first leg towards houston. as you know, her husband mark kelly said she will come back here. she will return to this hospital, walk through the front door and thank the first responders that helped her, all of her doctors. so many people, chris, very optimistic as the wong come heads to houston. miguel, thank you. i want to reiterate what he said. never ceases to amaze me in situations like this the resillency and the hopefulness and kindness of people. and we re seeing it again today as gabby giffords makes her way to the air base in houston and hopefully a very significant ....
