Sure, the temperatures are falling, but that doesn’t mean you have to put your hiking boots away. Massachusetts parks provide lots of pretty trails for hiking and snowshoeing during the cold months.
“Hiking during the cold weather months is an excellent way for visitors to get outside and experience their local park’s winter splendors with fewer crowds,” wrote Jim Montgomery, DCR commissioner, in an email. “When heading out to a DCR park, please enjoy your visit responsibly by continuing to social distance and wear a face covering at all times.”
