There is a general consensus in the United States that we probably have avoided a percentage for the near future. We will have a socalled soft landing. That is the consensus. Is that your view as well . It is really hard to predict. I think the economy is weakening. We are seeing evidence of that in some of our companies. I have some concerns. ....
Month for the markets, s p is fractionally higher by four and nasdaq is up by 12. These are small gains for the two embassies. We were mostly higher earlier and kind of hire now but these numbers are not accelerating by any means. What is accelerating his United Auto Workers strike. We had latest headlines from the picket line which is leaving little hope for the end of the strike anytime soon. Lets check on Global Markets because we are on this friday seeing gains, at least on the futures side of things you can see futures pointing to a higher open, the s p up by about six points, the dow up by about 78 and the nasdaq up by about 13 points overall. Lets get a check on the fixed income markets on the treasury side specifically with the tenyear u. S. Treasury note, yields are 2. 362 , a little lower than they have been over the last couple of days.
