Last week than we ve seen possibly in the past year. portland, oregon, more heavy rain yesterday. we ve seen daily record rainfalls day after day and we re getting drenched again this morning. let s go into the maps. we are seeing a parade of storms, back-to-back storms now. we have one that s into the northwest and here s number two right behind it. and so these will be the last two. and then we should get one more as we go into the upcoming weekend. that one doesn t look to be quite as bad. we still see some heavier rains with it, but it won t be horrible. and as far as the storms go, this first one has also some strong winds with it. the snow levels are pretty high. the second one is going to dump some snow even in areas of california, that desperately need it. there s all the heavy rain up i-5, seattle, portland, bellingham, rainfall totals 5 to 7 inches possible with the two combined storms there in areas especially of northern california. i want to talk about everyone east of the ....
Welcome back to first look on this tuesday. all the bad weather in our country is in the pacific northwest. heavy rain yesterday, it was the second storm in three days. they have a new one coming in today, and another one on thursday. and you can see all the flooding problems they ve already had to deal with. flood watches are in effect. we have some snow warnings. winter storm warnings. the highest of elevations. you can see our storm system here, it s cranking up to the gulf of alaska. big old storm. and this storm has connections into the warm tropics here of the pacific. and this is just a fire hose coming up into the northwest. that s why we re going to see some heavy rainfall over the next couple days. already we re getting a little bit of shower activity. that next batch of heavy rain up towards the olympics. flooding today will likely be up there somewhere near seattle. rain fall amounts could see the possibility rate here of 5 to 7 inches of rain over the next three to four ....
