We like to have certain number of minimum wage but going beyond 16 an hour i think thats going to hurt a lot of Small Businesses. Reporter dave is the owner of Black Diamond cafe. He pays 15 an hour. He says increasing his employees pay to 16. 30 would have increased his weekly cost an additional 331. 50. He couldnt afford that so prior to the amendment exempting Small Businesses from paying the higher wage, he said he let two parttime workers go.
