Potential customers will be able to learn a lot more about it and take one for a drive.
Meanwhile the company released more information, including dimensions and equipment availability.
Electric truck maker Rivian is kicking off a national tour this summer to start getting its preorder holders behind the wheel. Customers will be able to take a drive, learn about some major features and see the truck’s attention to detail firsthand. Rivian says it will release the tour dates “in the coming weeks.” ....

Tesla has raised prices for the fourth time in two months.
These price increases are becoming a habit.
Now the least-expensive Tesla you can get is a $39,500 Model 3.Once again Tesla has updated its online configurator for its Model 3 and Model Y, increasing prices across the lineups. Starting in February Tesla began changing vehicle prices, and did so again in early March, again at the end of March, and again in mid April. The changes are similar to the changes two weeks ago.

VW is increasing its EV abilities at its Emden plant, starting with the ID.4 SUV.
Volkswagen says preparations for the start of production of its ID.4 EV in 2022 are in progress at its Emden plant.
In fact the company says Emden should be ready to go in the first half of 2022.
More models will be added in 2023.
Back in November we reported that Volkswagen would be setting aside more plants for EV production in the coming decade, converting two existing plants in Hanover and Emden in Germany to EV production. Now VW says the Emden plant should be ready to go in the first half of 2022, starting with the ID.4. ....

Driver Tanner Foust said it’s the first time he’s done a 1,000-mile race with no mechanical problems.
