The first day of vaccinations at Ulverston’s GSK Sports Centre proved to be successful, says Dr Sarah Hauxwell. The senior responsible officer for vaccinations at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, revealed that patients were grateful to receive their first dose at the town’s new mass vaccination centre. Dr Hauxwell said: “The first day of the vaccination rollout at the GSK Sports and Leisure Club in Ulverston went really well, we had a steady flow of patients who had booked their vaccination appointment online and everyone was really grateful to be receiving it. “We also received great feedback from the patients about how smooth the process was. ....
