Steps stressed to stop dengue in Punjab July 26, 2021 LAHORE: Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Sarah Aslam has directed the officers concerned to intensify dengue prevention activities across the Punjab. She appealed to the public to take special care of cleanliness and no garbage should be thrown in open places. Precautionary measures against dengue are very important. Citizens should be more responsible in preventing dengue during monsoon especially rainwater should not accumulate in residential areas, she said. During the last 24 hours, one new confirmed case of dengue reported across the province. A total of two confirmed dengue patients are under treatment, one in Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi and one in Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Hospital Rawalpindi, across the whole province.

The minister announced that the administrative control of the blood banks shall be handed over to designated authorities in the respective teaching hospitals. Directive to intensify dengue prevention activities in Punjab July 19, 2021 LAHORE: Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Sarah Aslam has directed the department to intensify dengue prevention activities across the Punjab. She said on Eidul Azha special cleanliness arrangements should be made. She appealed to people that no filth of sacrificed animals and garbage should be thrown in open places and monsoon rains have also started. Precautionary measures against dengue are very important. Citizens should be more responsible for preventing dengue during monsoon. Rainwater should not accumulate in residential areas, she said. During the last 24 hours no case of dengue was reported across the province. During this year total 58 confirmed cases of dengue have been reported from all across the province and out of all confirmed patients, 28 patients has been reported from Lahore. No new case of
