SPOKANE, Wash. It was a historic day for he WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine in Spokane as it hosted its first ever Commencement Ceremony for the graduating inaugural class of medical students on Thursday.
The ceremony was held virtually as a drive-thru celebration for not only the medical students, but also students graduating with master’s and bachelor’s degrees in the College of Medicine’s Nutrition & Exercise Physiology and Speech & Hearing programs.
More than 100 students drove through the event, celebrating their hard work with family and friends, especially after a bleak year with the pandemic.
