Diane T. Mock, 87, formerly of Montoursville, died on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at Universal Health Care of King, N.C.
She was born on Oct. 14, 1933, in Williamsport, the daughter of Samuel C. and Evelyn L. (Miller) Thatcher.
She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State in English, and a teaching certification, and also a Master’s Degree from Penn State in Special Education. She loved her teaching career and loved her special education kids and she especially liked taking them on field trips. She also met her husband, Walter L. Mock, Jr., at Penn State in the clarinet section of one of the feeder bands for the Blue Band. ....
