Sue Antiste


BIG ARM – Sue Antiste, passed away on December 18, 2020 at the family home in Big Arm. Sue was born on February 10, 1935 in St. Ignatius to Josephine Caye and Louis Finley Squeque.
Sue grew up mainly in Elmo with her youngest years in Arlee. She attended school at Ursulines in St. Ignatius and in Elmo. She was the oldest of nine in her family.
Sue married Tom Antiste on February 15, 1953. They had eight children together. 
They were a very active couple together that enjoyed boating and water skiing. They were also a part of the Indian Relocation Program and were able to move to Roswell, N.M. for a couple of years. Living there enabled them to travel and do lots of sight-seeing and attend many pow wows in the area.  ....
