Praise for Bolton s mass covid- vaccination site which opened today
A MASS vaccination site opened at the University of Bolton Stadium today, led by a local pharmacy, as part of the local effort to reach as many people as possible.
Hootons Pharmacy, part of the Whittle Pharmacies group and based in Lee Lane, Horwich, opened the doors to one of the suites at the home of BoltonWanderers Football Club with 40 people receiving the vaccine within the first hour.
Up to 350 people a day will receive the inoculation at the site everyday.
Volunteers greeted those coming for the injection while pharmacists and clinicians administered the jab in a covid secure environment where special pods had been set up. ....
