3 bettors bag P43.9-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

MANILA -Three bettors became instant millionaires after winning the nearly PHP44 million jackpot of the Lotto 6/42, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said on Wednesday. In an advisory, the PCSO said the bettors guessed the winning combination 25-20-29-07-21-02 drawn on Tuesday night. The draw carried a total prize of PHP43,912,343.80. The winning tickets were purchased by three bettors in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan; Silang, Cavite; and Sta. Rosa, Laguna. To claim the check, the bettors must go to PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards. As provided in the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20 percent final tax. In an advisory on Friday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the bettor guessed the winning combination of 30-04-09-21-05-20 with a jackpot of PHP5,975,395.80.
