Srinagar, October 21 (Scoop News)- Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha today attended the Police Commemoration Day Parade at Armed Police Complex, Zewan, Srinagar. The Lt Governor laid floral wreath at Martyrs’ Memorial and paid homage to the police martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the security of the country.
“I pay my tributes to the memory of all police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty. We are forever indebted to our security forces for their selfless service to the nation. Their sacrifice and service to the nation would always be remembered”, said the Lt Governor.
Jammu Kashmir Police and Security Forces are a symbol of courage, dedication and selfless service. They have always exhibited high level of professional excellence under extremely challenging circumstances to provide safe and secure environment to citizens, the Lt Governor observed.

Poonch,September 13 (Scoop News)- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today visited Poonch where he inaugurated and laid foundation stone of several projects worth Rs.195 cores to accelerate the development of 229 Panchayats of the district.
On his arrival, the Lt Governor inaugurated Hockey Astro Turf at the Shaheed DySP Manjeet Singh memorial Government Higher Secondary School and a Boxing hall at the Sports Stadium and dedicated the facilities to the youth and sportspersons of the District.
During his visit to the border district, the Lt Governor launched projects worth Rs. 78.80 Crores for the welfare of tribal community and observed that several infrastructure projects, including bridge, roads, power sub-stations, smart class rooms, model villages will spearhead the cause of sustainable rural development.
