La Union eases non-leisure travel requirements for fully vaxxed

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union - The provincial government of La Union has removed the negative antigen test as one of the requirements for non-leisure travel of fully vaccinated non-residents to the province. In a phone interview on Thursday, La Union provincial information officer Camille Bumatay said this measure was based on Executive Order (EO) 58 issued by Governor Francisco Emmanuel Ortega III on Tuesday. World Bank revises PH growth forecast upward

MANILA - The World Bank has upgraded its economic outlook for the Philippines this year to 5.3 percent, higher than its projection in September at 4.3 percent. The World Bank revised its growth upward after observing that the economy grew in the first three quarters of 2021 despite the reimposition of the most stringent community quarantine in late March and early August.
