Congressional Art Contest Winners Selected for 2nd, 6th Districts

WASHINGTON (WHTC-AM/FM) – The two men who represent the Lakeshore in the US House have had their annual  art decisions made.
Both Bill Huizenga (R-Zeeland) and Fred Upton (R-St. Joseph), along with their colleagues on Capitol Hill, stage Congressional Art Competitions, looking to inspire young artists with the opportunity to have their work displayed in the Capitol building for the next year.

A panel of local art and design professionals, after evaluating 12 finalists, decided on Wednesday (May 12, 2021) that “Ruby Red Thoughts,” created by Kaylynn Barrett of West Ottawa High, was the winner of the 2 ....
