announcer: from abc news, this is world news now with john muller and diana perez. good thursday morning. we begin with breaking news. those deadly storms that tore through north texas, at least six people were killed, and dozens of homes either damaged or completely destroyed. now crews are going door to door looking for those trapped, injured, or killed in that rubble. abc s jim ryan has the very latest from granbury, texas. reporter: just before sunset, the tornado sirens started to sound here in granbury, a little south and southwest of ft. worth. 20 minutes later the tornado bore down on this community. it was preceded by hail stones that started out very small and then grew to the size of grapefruit. as the town, one subdivision at least, about a half mile square area was the hardest hit in this entire rash of storms overnight. six people killed. 14 more unaccounted for at this point. nearly three dozen others were injured in this storm they came across. ....
