Aquinas senior Aaron McDaniels spent his winter holiday season in Hawaii. He was invited to play in the Tiki Bowl, spending time playing football and sightseeing with his family.
Goodhue senior running back Malakye Parker recently played in the Tiki Bowl All-Star Football Game in Hawaii and he capped a memorable stay on the island by scoring a touchdown.

Wrestlers from five New Mexico high schools competed at Western New Mexico University’s football stadium in Silver City last Friday in a rare outdoors, dual-match competition hosted by Silver High School. Silver and WNMU hope to collaborate to make this an annual event.

A unique partnership between Silver High and Western New Mexico last weekend created one of the most unusual scenes of the year in what has already been the most unconventional of prep sports seasons:

“We started doing our research,” said Silver athletic director Gary Allison. “We couldn’t find anything else at the high school level that does that. We decided … to see if we could be the first.”
