These changes are aimed towards making the ghosts more threatening while also giving players a bit more room to play around them. The biggest and perhaps most noticeable change is the adjustment to the ghosts’ chase speed. All ghosts (except the Revenant) will now move at a much faster pace when they are actively hunting players during games, according to the patch notes released on Twitter. However, they will return to their normal speed once line-of-sight is broken, making large maps like Asylum or High School a little harder to navigate during hunts. ....
