David vasquez did not attend the hearing scheduled today. Fox 25 first reported one of the alleged breached safety procedures that set the unmanned train in motion, a passenger gave us there photo of the trains cab and told us he saw a cord wrapped around the throttle, which controls the trains movements. Sources controls to the investigation said vasquez failed to engage the trains brake before he stepped off that train. Since last week, fox 25 has made several attempts to speak with mr. Vasquez. We have not received any response. We reached out today to the Carmens Union that represents them and all they would say is the process is ongoing and he should be afforded his due process. We do have the Winter Weather advisory in effect for the areas shaded in purple. Still in the city of boston until about 1 00. It will be a little bit later this afternoon, worcester hills and Southern New Hampshire for a mixture of snow, sleet, freezing rain leading to the poor travel. Temperatures boston safely above 32. Were at 36. Plymouth at 36. But over here worcester hills, merrimack valley, this is where the cold air is stuck. And its going to be stuck for a couple more hours. And so the challenge is getting that rain to take over from the sleet and the freezing rain. Mike unbelievable that nobody got that. The statistics are favoring those big, big numbers. We have big numbers in the form of a wind. The wind will be very gusty today. High Wind Warnings out for both capes. Inland were looking at wind advisories. I think the winds will be really ramping up later on this morning and through the afternoon. Also coming along with that wind is the rain. You can see the leading edge of it right now just pushing its way through new york city moving all the way to hartford right now. This is moving its way north ward very, very quickly. All wrapping around a low pressure system clear out over the ohio river valley. As it moves up, it starts to bring the southeastly wind in.
