i did a demonstration record of a song called make it easy on yourself. and it was agreed between david baccarat, david and myself that that would be my very first record. calvin carter was a&r at dj records. he called and he said to me, you know that song make it easy on yourself, want to do it with jerry butler. basically, run the date, book the musicians. that was a big opportunity for me. well, i was on my way from hartford down to new york to do a session for them. and out of the radio came jerry butler singing make it easy on yourself. make it easy on yourself make it easy on yourself ....
Going to be terrible for this evening. temperatures, 23 at laguardia. it s 20 in new york. temperatures have been below freezing since 4:00 this morning. so we have been seeing these very cold temperatures. that s certainly creating slick roadways. here s a look at the radar. you can see the snow is still coming. baseically from hartford down to new york, philadelphia and washington. heaviest snow amounts are going to be from philly down through the district through the rest of the afternoon. everyone can look at at least a couple more inches before this storm pulls away. here s a look at future radar. this is why it s important as we roll through. notice how the snow just sort of lingers right along i-95 from d.c. up into new york. so through the evening commute, this is going to be a problem. the roads are going to be slow. then this all moves out by early evening. so additional snowfall will be the heaviest south of new york city. we could see an additional 4 inches in baltimore, ph ....
