This time, though, he will be spending his time in a federal prison rather than a state one. U.S. District Judge Thomas L. Ludington on Thursday, April 8, sentenced 28-year-old Brandon S. Parsons to 12 years in prison. Once Parsons has served his time, he is to be under supervision for an additional five years, Ludington ordered. ....

Bay County Circuit Judge Harry P. Gill on Monday, April 5, sentenced 32-year-old Jeramie J. Griffin to nine to 15 years in prison. The judge gave Griffin no credit for time already served, due to the defendant’s parolee absconder status at the time he committed his latest offense. As a result, Griffin will have to first finish serving the remainder of the time he had been paroled on before he starts chipping away at his new sentence. ....

Bay County Circuit Judge Harry P. Gill in December sentenced Eric F. Owens, 46, to two days in jail with credit for two days already served.
