An area fire department and school district are giving retired fire hoses a second chance to save lives by repurposing the hoses into door sleeves at Northridge Local Schools.
Nearby roads were shut down while local fire departments worked to transfer water to the fire due to the building no longer having a pumphouse or access to water.
