A project in downtown Harrisburg that has been in the works for years is moving along.
Harristown Enterprises, the owner of Strawberry Square, plans to construct a mixed-use building at 21 S. Second St. in Harrisburg on the site of a longtime three story building that was once home to the former Coronet restaurant. That building was demolished in late 2018 and early 2019.

A developer plans to build a community center/apartment building and eight townhomes on about a half of an acre site in Harrisburg.
Erica Bryce, Chris Bryce and Matthew Long with Midtown Redevelopment plan to construct the community center/apartment building at 1629 N. Third St. The townhomes will be built along Third, Logan, Hamilton and Clinton streets and will include two car garages.

A new seven-story building is planned for Reily Street in Harrisburg on a 1.01 acre site near the future Federal Courthouse.
KevGar Holdco, which is owned by Kevin Baird and Gary Nalbandian, and 400 Reily Street Management, plans to develop the building that will include commercial space for a 23,000-square-foot grocery store, an 8,000-square-foot restaurant and coffee shop, a 1,500-square-foot office; 85 apartments; and an approximately 500-space parking garage.
