On Monday, FOX dropped several trailers for shows that are part of its 2021-2022 TV lineup including the comedy Welcome to Flatch, which filmed in and around the Burgaw area in 2020. And Burgaw plays a starring role in the trailer, which features multiple locations from the Pender County town, as well as shots of downtown Wallace, which is in nearby Duplin County. Formerly titled This Country the show is basically an Americanized version of an award-winning British comedy with that title Welcome to Flatch is a mockumentary about life in a small American town.
