Lets get to our breaking news. The judge in this case, barry williams, just minutes ago denied the defense motion to acquit the defendant in this case of all charges. That means the case continues. The judge said at this point in the trial he has to view the evidence in a light most favorable to prosecutors. But the judge said that its a closer call when it comes to the charge of Second Degree depraved heart murder against van driver officer goodson. The defense argued there is no evidence that goodson gave freddie gray a rough ride in the police van. No witnesses, no skid marks, no evidence that goodson intended to injure freddie gray. But prosecutors argued that officer goodsons failure to seatbelt gray is enough to establish that he recklessl risked grays life and that they say constitutes Second Degree depraved heart murder.
