Deadline reports the rapper's DreamCrew Entertainment executive produced The Melt Goes On Forever: The Art & Times of David Hammons alongside Rosie Filmwaze LLC. The documentary film paints a portrait of the life and work of Hammons, whose body prints, sculptures made of hair and other works captivated the art world, as he defied "establishment categories and rules of commerce." It captures "his playful, no-bs spirit and conceptual integrity," and his critiques on racial and social inequality. The doc features archival footage and rare interviews, as well as stories from artists, curators and critics, including Suzanne Jackson, Henry Taylor and Lorna Simpson.
