Head-on collision in Parke County results in arrest warrant for Michigan man, woman

PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) Once released from the hospital, a Michigan man will face felony charges for “causing catastrophic injury” while operating a vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance and other drug-related charges.
According to the Parke County Sheriff’s Department, Michael Bruce Waters, 33, of Cadillac, Mich., was passing a stopped vehicle on US 41 near CR900 South when his truck struck a car driven by Harmony Crowder, 45, of Rockville, Ind., head-on. The truck came to a rest on its side.
Waters and a passenger, Randie Lynn Bowen, 26, of Marion, Mich., were able to pull themselves from the truck; however, Crowder was trapped inside her car and had to be extricated by emergency personnel. ....

A warrant has been issued for a Michigan man whose truck crashed head-on into another car Friday afternoon, hospitalizing a Rockville woman.
Michael Bruce Waters, 33, of Cadillac, Michigan, faces charges of causing catastrophic injury when driving with a controlled substance, a Level 4 felony, and possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, in Parke Circuit Court.
A passenger in Waters vehicle 26-year-old Randi Lynn Bowen of Marion, Michigan was arrested on charges possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and false informing. Police said Bowen gave a false name during the investigation.
In a news release issued Tuesday, the Parke County Sheriff s Department said Harmony Crowder, 45, of Rockville, remains hospitalized in Indianapolis facing an extended recovery from multiple serious injuries. ....

Parke County crash sends one person to Indianapolis hospital by helicopter

PARKE CO., Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) One person was flown to an Indianapolis hospital for injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Parke County.
Sheriff Justin Cole says it happened just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 41 and County Road 900 South in the southern part of the county.
Officials say 33-year-old Bruce Waters of Cadillac, Michigan was trying to avoid a stopped vehicle and crashed head on with a passenger car driven by 45-year-old Harmony Crowder of Rockville.
Waters and his passenger were able to climb out of their vehicle. Crowder needed to be extricated from her vehicle and was later flown to Indianapolis for her injuries. The status of her injuries is unknown. ....
