A postcard that was written and sent in 1955 has finally been delivered to a retired salesman after six-and-a-half decades.
Chris Harmon, a British national, was supposed to receive the postcard when he was just 9 years old. It was sent to him by an American friend when he was living in East Sussex.
Unfortunately, the postcard never reached Chris.
But a few months ago, it was discovered at a charity shop in Dorset. It was handed in as part of Weldmar Hospicecare s stamp collection fundraising, according to toa Metro.co.uk report. ....
