Law firms BTG Legal and Advaya Legal are merging to form BTG Advaya, with a total of 11 partners and offices in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and New Delhi. The merged firm will maintain a partner-to-associate ratio of 1:4. BTG Legal was founded by Prashant Mara in 2014 after working with international law firm Osborne Clarke, while Advaya Legal was founded in 2010 by Ramesh Vaidyanathan. The merger aims to enhance their ability to provide top-tier legal services and diversify their client base.
“This amalgamation is set to cement the collective expertise of both firms, offering clients an enhanced range of services, broader geographical reach and deeper industry insight. We are poised to scale new heights,” said Chawla, also popularly known as Harry.
