Tribute painting follows watercolour success for Brian Smith, from Malmesbury | Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard

Malmesbury artist Brian Smith has paid his own tribute to Captain Sir Tom Moore with a stunning watercolour painting.
“I specialise in watercolour and I like to give the viewer a story to my work,” he said.
“I have recently been awarded as a selected member of the prestigious Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour which is a great accolade for me.”
Brian began his career with 25 years of freelance illustration work allowing him to accrue a vast knowledge in a diverse range of skills in various mediums.
Watercolour became his chosen path and after some years of experimentation and struggle, his commitment and love of the medium brought him success and recognition with work being shown at The Mall, Bankside and Cork Street Open Exhibition in recent years. ....
