Chairs Forum 7 May 2021.
On 7 May 2021, the National
Iwi Chairs forum conferred the inaugural Te Whare Pukenga
award to Dr Te Moana Nui a Kiwa Jackson (Moana Jackson) for
his outstanding contributions as an advocate, facilitator
and educator for Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Human Rights and
social justice.
The National Iwi Chairs Forum
established the award recognising the outstanding
contributions made by Māori to strengthen whānau, hapu and
