[Update: 4:45 pm] The Barbados Water Authority informed residents of St George and Christ Church districts affected by the water outage today Monday, December 14, that repairs have been completed on the main at Carmichael in St George. Customers were asked to be mindful, however, that it may take some time for normal pressure to all areas to return to normal. Some districts may continue to experience low pressure or outages into the evening.
Parts of St George are experiencing water outages or low water pressure. The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is aware of the situation. Crews are today working to fix this burst. As a result, two of the Authority’s Stations have had to be taken offline in order to facilitate the repair. Customers in the following areas may experience low water pressure or outages. First Step, Lower Brighton, Waverley Cot, Buttals Tenantry, Good Intent, Eastlyn, Manning’s Village, Walkers Valley, Constant, Windsor Tenantry, Campaign Castle, Brereton, Hannays Valley, Lower Greys, Dayrells Hill, Boarded Hall, Frere Pilgrim, Edey Village, Watts Village, St. Davids, Cox Road, Bannantyne, South District and surrounding areas. ....
